The Council has the responsibiity of putting into practice a common research policy between IFRA Nairobi, IFAS Johannesburg, CFEE Addis Ababa and IFRA Ibadan. The main objective is to improve the cooperation between the different institutes in order to facilitate exchange of information in the humanities and social sciences in Africa.
