  • 17-18 January 2011: Regional Workshop on the "Second Circle" of Heritage in East Africa

    IFRA held a regional workshop on Heritage in East Africa dealing with the challenges of the heritagisation and heritage valorisation of neglected sites. It brought together academics and research project managers from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi, as well as practitioners and heritage professionals, and representatives of national and international research organizations. The objective of this meeting was to come up with a commun research project.[read the report]
