IFRA's newsletter Mambo was launched in 2000 to act as a research forum through the publication of articles in social sciences on contemporary East Africa. In 2004, the format of the newsletter was modified, becoming an information bulletin on events in East Africa and IFRA's activities. The bulletin reverted to its original format in September 2007. Published on a monthly basis, it presents works on research themes promoted by IFRA. Issues are available online.
Recent publication: L'Afrique indienne. Les minorités d'origine indo-pakistanaise en Afrique orientale by Michel Adam (2010)
